Eric told me that he heard the news when he was at home. Every American that I have spoken to seems to have quite a detailed recollection of what they were doing on that day. I was fascinated when he was describing what he was doing on 9/11. What a waste of time that was! (It was a 0-0 draw) During the game, Eric and I for some reason got onto world politics. After the boro game was over, I managed to convince Eric to stay and watch some high quality football from Arsenal since they were on after the boro game.
Us Brits had to explain to Eric how the game is played etc. During the game, one of the American students came down to watch the game with us because he couldn't sleep. It kind of reminded me of 'teeside tin tin' (Internet version of Tin Tin but with a teeside accent). I got Adam downstairs as well which was quite a laugh especially when boro got the ball, Lewis went made at the screen. I thought this would be a good idea as I still had my CMS to do and I thought it would be a good way of procrastinating downstairs in our halls projection room. He rang me to see if I wanted to watch Middlesbrough versus Cardiff City in the FA cup. For those of you that don't know, Lewis is a 'Boro'. On the Sunday my friend Lewis called me around 1am and asked me whether I could let him into my hall. I have no lectures on Monday which means that I get to lay in. New things that have happened since I've been here is that I now have a camera and a 500gb hard drive to store all my photos and videos that I will in due time make. It was soo hot that my back was sticking to the seat. Like in Reading and back at home I sat in my pants the whole time.
It was probably one of the hottest days ever that I have experienced since being here.
Today I had to finish up my CMS which was taking ages and ages. I have never missed a lecture yet but have found it very useful when you cannot write everything down at once.

I am in my third week of lectures and have pretty much got into the full swing of things. Work and the sunny weather had got the best of me.
